Peter is a certified and distinguished microfinance expert with over 10 years’ experience in microfinance industry. He has been exposed to lending to MSMEs and individuals, as well as deposit mobilization. He started his career in January 2015 as an Assistant Loans Officer at Collarhedge Finance now Success Bank. He rose through ranks to Senior Credit Officer and served the company for almost 6 years. He contributed to its successful transformation from credit only to deposit taking microfinance now known as Success Bank Ltd. He then moved to Zambuko Trust Microfinance in December 2020 and spent 2 years with the organisation. He contributed to the resuscitation of Bindura branch and also went on to open Mvurwi Branch to increase the institution’s outreach in Mashonaland Central Province. He then moved to Crediconnect Microfinance in October 2022 as a Senior Business Development officer responsible for Mashonaland Central Province. He is the Co-founder and CEO for Two Strings Financial Services. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies Honours degree in Finance and Banking (UZ), Executive Certificate in Investments and Portfolio Management (UZ), Master of Business Administration (NUST) and an Executive Certificate in Microfinance and Entrepreneurship (ZAMFI & NUST).

Garikai is an accountant by profession, He is currently working for Delta Beverages (Coca Cola) as a stock controller since January 2023. Prior to that he has worked for Edgars and Jet Stores for over 8 years and has assume different roles from Customer service officer, Back Office Cleck through to Supervisory role. He is also a shareholder and director for Hazmart Global Solutions (Private) Limited with interests in construction industry. Garikai holds a diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA and certificate in computer operations and packages from HEXCO. He is currently in 3rd year studying towards attaining a degree in Accounting with Women's University in Africa
